Despite some rather blustery weather Wokingham Winter Carnival 2007 was a roaring success. More people than ever before seemed to come out to enjoy the free entertainment, the plentiful stalls, the funfair and the magnificent procession.

The inaugral space-hopper race was held and saw Miltons Restaurant grab their first trophy of the day which they followed up with a fantastic victory in the best float competition later on. 2007 also saw the introduction of the "Second Stage" where up and coming musical talent in Wokingham performed as well as some more seasoned acts from the local area.

The Carnival returns for 2008 on Sunday 30th November and the theme for this year is "Panto In Wokingham". So dress up, join in and have a whole load of fun at this fantastic community event. Click here to download posters and programmes.
