Miltons Restaurant
“Sabrage” - removing the Champagne cork with a sweep of your sword.
There will be no need to bring your own sword for this special evening.
The menu is shown below and the entertainment and fun will be provided by Richard Bampfield who will possibly be too modest to tell you of his recent success in winning the accolade as European Ambassador for Champagne 2009. Richard’s intentions are as follows – in his own words - I envisage a tasting of 2 Champagnes as an aperitif, in the course of which I explain some of the basic language of Champagne and the differences in styles. This would be followed by a 3 course meal, ending with dessert / cheese, comparing and contrasting different selected Champagnes with each course. The choice of Champagnes would compare white / rosé, vintage / NV, dry / sweet, etc”.
And please don’t get a taxi here – stay for breakfast - you can stay the night in one of our special rooms from £45.00 per person including English breakfast.
