A fine Champagne cognac made exclusively from the grande and petite champagnes, which are the best quality grapes from the Cognac region. Aged for 8-12 years in Limousin and Troncais oak barrels.
Amber in colour, silky smooth with some chocolate overtones and a nutty, slightly citrus finish. Hints of vanilla, grilled almonds and port wine.

REMY MARTIN - VSOP
A fine Champagne Cognac from Remy Martin which was started in 1724. Darker amber than the VS, the VSOP stands for 'Very Special Old Pale' with a fresh, full nose with notes of vanilla, limousin oak, dried rose and apricot. Very mellow with a short, slightly warm finish.

LAPHROAIG - 10 Year Old
A thick coating of peat isn't enough to cover a soft, oaky background. Iodine appears alongside a pear-fruity sweetness. Delicate for a whisky so big.
Continuous gentle waves of dry peat lap upon the tastebuds but are balanced by a sweet malt middle and the most hesitant of vanillas.
Long and peaty, the shy vanilla now begins to show as the oak adds a certain dryness.

Colour of pale s and on the nose is complex, with hints of fruit and heather honey. On the palate it is soft, with a maltiness, balanced with oak and fruit with a lingering finish with hints of oak and fruit.
