Weddings and Civil Partnerships

It is the most important day of your lives and at Cantley House hotel we understand and appreciate the awesome amount of trust with which you place that day in our hands. Consequently, right from the first telephone enquiry we will do absolutely everything to ensure your day is as perfect as you deserve it to be. Although most of the descriptions here are based upon weddings it applies equally to all the other important dates: birthdays, christenings, anniversaries and you can rest assured that we will make these days as special as they deserve to be in the same way we do with weddings.

Please also remember that everything described on this site is a guideline only. We have more than twenty years of experience organising weddings and we would love to couple our know how with your imagination to create the day and package you want.

Cantley House Hotel is licensed to conduct Civil Wedding and Partnership Ceremonies in the beautiful wood paneled Oak Room and the Ormonde room, both of which are perfect for parties and receptions.

The Briar, our 17th Century Banqueting Suite, can accommodate up to 80 guests in a most romantic setting and Pipers Room adjoining the Ormonde can cater for up to 100 guests.

If you have more guests in mind then our unique partnership with wedding marquee specialists Cascade Events Ltd allows us to offer dining for up to 350 guests in a grand marquee set in our beautiful gardens. For more information on marquee weddings at Cantley please click here.
